Set in 28 acres of Sussex countryside, St Peter & St James enjoys spectacular views across the South Downs. Patients and their loved ones are encouraged to make the most of the Hospice grounds, which include landscaped gardens, a wheelchair friendly woodland walk and a summer house.

Services:  A Specialist Palliative Care centre which includes an 8-bed Hospice in-patient unit, a Day Hospice, a team of Community Clinical Nurse Specialists and a 15-bed Continuing Care Centre. Support services include Counselling, Welfare Support, Chaplaincy, Physiotherapy, Aromatherapy, Bereavement Support and a Carers’ Support Group.

Funding: The Hospice services cost in excess of £1.5m per year (£4,109 per day) with just 15% funding from the government.
