Opened in 1983, St. Catherine's serves an area reaching up to Dorking, Reigate and Redhill to the north, Forest Row to the east, over to Hassocks and Henfield in the south and west to Horsham and Billingshurst.      

Services:  18 specialist inpatient beds.  A day hospice serving 45 people each week.  A specialist community team of 9 nurses.  A lymphoedema service. 

Funding: Annual operating costs are approximately £5.8m (£15,890 per day), with 20% coming from the NHS.
