MUSIC FOR A SUMMER EVENING
Pashley Manor photo by David Dixon
The Friends of East Sussex Hospices are proud to present an evening of ‘Music and Laughter’ in the glorious setting of Pashley Manor in Ticehurst on Saturday 21st July. The Pashley Manor Concert promises to be a highlight in the social calendar of Sussex in 2007. It will follow the tried and tested format of the Pashley Manor Concerts in 2005 and 2006 which were resounding successes, raising on each occasion approximately £75,000 for the charity.

The evening will feature an impressive line-up of top musical performers led by international soprano Kathryn Harries, who is acclaimed world-wide as one of today's great singing actresses. The artists will include established names from the world of opera and celebrated instrumentalists and the programme will include popular highlights from grand opera and West End musicals.

Pashley Manor is a Grade l listed manor house built in 1543 set in award winning gardens with stunning views over the surrounding countryside. Guests to this black-tie event are invited to picnic in the gardens prior to the performance, which will take place in a marquee, and to enjoy a free glass of champagne in the interval
