£35.7 million needs to be raised by our nine hospices in this financial year or the invaluable services they provide within their communities will have to be cut back.   Wage freezes and redundancies are already being implemented and financial support is needed more than ever this year.  Our hospices desperately need help NOW so that they can continue to serve these communities.

MOUNT EVEREST CLIMB We are very grateful to Jennah Akehurst and her sister HazeI who made an amazing climb to the base camp of Mount Everest in October and donated all funds raised to FESH. The trip entailed a 15 day trek which took them up to 5,545 metres. In preparation they climbed the three peaks (Snowdon, Scafell, and Ben Nevis). They raised over £1,000.
