Demelza provides hospice care for over 450 children with life-limiting illnesses and their families across Kent, East Sussex and South London. 

Services: 8 children's bedrooms providing respite, symptom control, end-of-life care, bereavement support and a range of specialist facilities, including The Inclusion Zone for young adults.  10 bedrooms are also available for parents and siblings.  Demelza James provides a hospice at home service, complementing Demelza House, with 6 specialist paediatric nurses going directly into the family home to provide care, crisis intervention and on-call service and respite. 

Funding:  Demelza relies almost entirely on   fundraising to keep its services running. These currently cost £3.5 milllion a year. Registered Charity No. 1039651
