Friends of East Sussex Hospices is a registered charity run by volunteers which raises money in many different ways for the nine hospices that serve the people of East Sussex. Our hospices provide expert specialist care free of charge to patients of all ages with terminal or life-limiting conditions and this medical, practical and pastoral support is offered to people of all faiths and of none.

£1.4million is spent on hospice care every single day in the UK and two-thirds of the funding for this comes from local communities. East Sussex hospices give an excellent return to government with every £1 invested delivering more than £4 worth of care. In this financially challenging climate and when demand has never been greater many hospices are struggling to maintain current services.
As well as raising funds FESH is working to persuade the local Strategic Health Authority and Primary Care Trusts to listen to local people and to invest in our hospices at realistic levels. Beneficiaries are:
